Just reading an article on the bbc relating to Mr Townsend which appears, at first glance, to be a sob story about how he's ended up stuck in limbo.
So he's been "transferred" to Antalyaspor, but they can't register him as they knew a transfer ban was incoming and didn't get the paperwork done in time.
I then read:
