Andy Burnham

Can't carry loads of tools and hardware on the bus.
Northern have a two bike limit (nominally. although our FOCs cycle club have go on with four bikes!), the Metro allows folded bikes, so if we want to go cycling out in the leafy cycle paths of, say, Cheshire, or a lovely towpath down a canal, it invariably means the bikes go on the carrier, and the carrier goes on the towbar and we drive to a simple spot and then cycle. Public transport doesn't fit everything but it needs to make more of a 'do' than it does!

A politicuon fessing up amd payin his dues I can respect, espexially after watching that fat oaf johnson the other day.

Exactly as Harriet Harman said if you are doing over the speed limit you use your eyes to look at the speedo and see what is going on - don't get me wrong Johnson would pay up - or a donor would for him - but then he would bleat in interviews how no adviser sat in a lorry cab on the M6 near Birmingham told him he was exceeding the speed limit thus making the punishment unfair and issued by a Kangaroo court by leftie Magistrates

Radio 6 DJ told a story yesterdat about how she spotted Burnham in a club in LA bopping away to some cutting edge dance band. When she asked him what he was doing he said he was there to promote Manchesters new music scene and seemed very knowledgeable about the whole thing.

If he could drive at 78mph without realising there was a temporary 40mph limit, I suspect there was probably no need for the 40 mph limit.
