If I remember right he said it actually costs him money to play there. It's quite amusing, looking at some of the grounds Bordeaux are playing at, basically park "stadiums" with a fence round the pitch and little or no stands. Their home support still looks pretty good, and away must be quite tricky for the teams they're playing against.
