Watching Connahs Quay v TNS and noticed he wasnt on the touchline.

Would love to see him back at City in a coaching role, done well there.

If it wasn't a ex player would you want a manager from the welsh premier league anywhere near our squad ?, as for Goater no coaching credentials at all. It's a no from me

The lad's not too well. The last few years have taken it out of him, and he's accepted that he needs to recharge.

He's not good enough to take an important role at a top level club. He's a good leader of men up to a certain level, and the Welsh Premier League has the standard of players who will respect his experience.

The simple fact is that 'top' players at every club (including many trainees) tend to look down on coaches/staff who don't have a big reputation. That's why Frank Lampard struggled at Chelsea, and why young coaches use non-league or lower division clubs to slowly gain credibility and develop their careers.

Andy will be back in football soon, but don't expect him to go from frying pan into fire.

Working on the door I think, club blazer & everything!
