Never a fan but played when obviously not fit at Wimbledon & was probably the worst decision he could have ever made.

It was only a matter of time before injuries caught up with him.

Gutted for him, just when he'd finally reached number 1 after so many years battling against 3 of the all time greats he go that injury whilst favourite for a 3rd Wimbledon. Fantastic career though and what heart he showed throughout it.

I have a lot of time for him, he's a nice lad. Been saying for a while he should retire, after his hip operation hadn't fully worked.

A truly great sportsman. Played when the best player ever was around, and Nadal and Djokovic aren't duck eggs.

Seems hes aiming to play Wimbledon as a swansong which is great news for his fans and a very fitting place to call it a day.
