Stoke would be getting the deal of the century. Butland is gash.

Yes but he’s young and English and “PL proven”

Would love to see them get Butland instead of a top keeper like Alisson

From one Championship club to another? No. He needs better than that fate and needs a club that encourages keepers to be useful with their feet rather than just to pick up the ball and to boot it as far as he can for another long ball attack.

He can do the stuff with his feet, everyone at City already knows that, he's been doing it for years. His just needs some exposure in the Premier League, and when it comes to that, beggars can't be choosers as there's only 20 starting keepers, and at least 10 of those are completely off limits to a 22 year old Manchester City loanee.

Maybe Palace under Hodgson would be a potential target, or Watford, as both have shite keepers. Other than that, people seem to be either set with their keepers, or invested in poor ones (Forster & Begovic are playing absolutely awfully, but neither will be dropped for a loanee who'd just leave in a year).

When it comes to keepers as well, people tend to massively overrate players at the bottom of the league who face a lot of shots and have the opportunity to make eye-catching saves, see Poe, Foster or Pickford and Mignolet at Sunderland.
