6'6'' 18 yr old EDS and England u19 regular.

Being discussed elsewhere but deserving of his own thread given his recent impressive performances.IMO he has come on tremendously of late, his main strength is his distribution but also a very good shotstopper.

Hopefully he will soon be our 3rd keeper.

Totally agree. Time to keep an eye on some of our younger players, some real potential emerging at a young age - and a lot of it English positively. Looks like he can be a real asset to us in the future and as you say his distribution is excellent for such a young age.

It seems quite strange to me that he's been prefered to Ian Lawlor, but the lad still deserves a chant.

Angus! Angus! Angus Gunn!
under nighnteens number 1!

Angus! Angus! Angus Gunn!
Englands Englands number 1!

P.S. he actually is the one - a starter for England u19 nat. team

Ian Lawlor is 20 next month so was overage for this season, Gunn is only 18.

Ha, for some reason I thought this was a thread on the UEFA U19s.

I overlooked complimenting him for his outstanding performance in the Roma game.

If he continues to progress he is a future City and England keeper. He has all the attributes. He just needs to keep on working hard and trying to improve every day.

Gunn was fantastic yesterday,he really is coming on a treat.

On a side,Ian Lawlor has today signed a new deal.

Angus is a tall lad as we know and I am guessing with that has come some growing issues.I know he has had an injury or 2 but don't recall what the problem(s) have been but I do know a lot of work has been and is going on with building him up. But all that aside I have been really impressed with his form.
