I don't know whether i'm being too judgemental and i'm not expecting anyone to jump in front of the knife but surely the people there could have helped the man trying to distract him with the rucksack. I know it's easily said from behind my laptop but I can't help but feel that other men being present may have distracted him if nothing else. I accept that none of us know what we would do in that situation though.

Now being reported that he's not believed to have had a terrorist motive, that he was wearing a cross when arrested and that he was heard to shout "in the name of Jesus Christ" in English twice during the attack.

Totally agree. Terrorist motive or not , who gives a shit . Get rid and move on. One less wrong un being fed by the state . He is hardly the type of character that is going to do anything good for the society in the future. Waste of oxygen
