Today is the anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster. I know people have a variety of views on how this has been commemorated over the decades but I think it’s important that as City fans we try to understand how Manchester felt in 1958. Thanks. I will read later. I was interested recently when I saw a graphic showing City's attendances collapsing after 1958 and I wondered what it would have been like to be a City fan in this period.

My Mum was at school in Staffordshire in 1958 and she told me that lots of the children were very upset and wore black armbands.
