If this goal had been given France would have finished 2nd in the group.

This is what the official FIFA site said about the non-goal

Crammer almost got France a second goal with time running out, but her effort was denied by the crossbar. The final whistle sounded shortly afterwards.

FIFAs attitude will be. "It's womans football therefore it means fuck all"

How this mistake repeatedly happens tournament after tournament!

By the way, if this goal was counted, France still cannot be second on the group.

Sepp Blatter, 29th June 2010: ""We will naturally take on board the discussion on technology and have the first opportunity in July at the business meeting."

Today, the International Football Association Board meet in Cardiff to discuss any issues and rules within the game.

FIFA Statment, 20th July 2010: "The meeting this week is purely to ratify any requests that have come forward over the implementation of the assistant referees experiment, which was used last year in the Europa League.

"The first formal meeting where that discussion [goal-line technology] could take place is in October."

I will put money on the issue not being discussed in October.

I still find it weird to see women play football...

Rather see them doing this

Wonder if they sell these in Dortmund

Women's footie has come such a long way but why are the goal keepers still always so shit? I know that was a nicely placed chip but the keeper looked pathetic.
