If there were two Corbyns, and one Corbyn was in power, the other would still vote against the other Corbyn. It's just who he is.
 
I thought we were getting rid of red-tape? Owen Paterson what’s to negotiate fishing policy on an annual basis. That will leave very little time for actual fishing.

But I suppose it’s something.....

The problem they have is that they've realised what you're saying, they've seen Johnson's ratings improve, but they
now have to keep up the blocking process, which means his standing goes even higher. Their biggest mistake, apart
from Corbyn, who is proving to be as popular as genital warts, was trying to frustrate Brexit as a means to oust the Tories,
that stance just won't work now, but they can't change tack.
Voting against everything, in full Jezza tradition, is not how you get to win friends and influence people.

Why do you liars do it? The bill re Lisbon was 6 months going through Parliament.

The Maastrict passed in 23 days and this is a far bigger piece of legislation this hasn't passed anything yet don't count your chickens

Apologies for the Tweet (not really ;)) It would take me too long to type it all out but it seems things are not quite so simple as you envisage.

Plus the are too many people negatively affected and enraged by Brexit for the issue to go quietly away. For example the 1.3 million Brits who live in EU countries many of whom may be forced to return. 6+ million people signed a petition to Revoke Art 50. 2 demonstrations in London have attracted a total somewhere between 1 & 3 million people, depending on whose estimate you take. Every year more young voters will be denied the freedoms we have all enjoyed for 40 years. That's all before the negative economic effect which will see public services slashed further and the poorer end of society cast further adrift. No I don't believe this is going away anytime soon.

On a more cynical note why would a political party not tap into this depth of feeling ? The LibDems are much derided on here but they have been smart and are reaping the rewards.

Translation - Ultra right wing Tory asks BoJo to commit to a negotiating line that they all know will be abandoned. A favorite topic of the right-wing press but of virtually no strategic value to our economy.

BoJo's response is completely meaningless - neither an answer to the question or adding anything to the debate. Totally pointless, pathetic.

Oh, I'm not, as I've said, parliament, ie labour, will reject it, we all know, because they've said so, Corbyn said so
5 minutes after Johnson said he'd got a deal.
It's the consequence of this rejection that has been discussed, I'm under no illusions about parliament, it's the aftermath
that gets interesting, Corbyn could not possibly turn down another GE request, although knowing him it wouldn't surprise
anyone.
