I was actually searching for the moment when other leadership candidates were talking about what happens if you get close to a deal but can't get legislation through by 31st October. Guess who was the only one to swear blind he'd get it done by the 31st. OK it's not a lie but what do you call a false promise when all the other candidates are trying to tell the truth?
But I did come across this. What other liar has been taken to court to order him to do what the courts have already required of him because people don't believe he would obey the court? And where the judge effectively says that because of his promise to the court, then what he said to party members must be a lie...
In an email to party members last month he wrote: “They just passed a law that would force me to beg Brussels for an extension to the Brexit deadline. This is something I will never do.”
Lord Pentland said that these statements “must be understood in the political context in which they were made . . . They were clearly not intended to be taken as conclusive statements of the government’s understanding of its legal obligations.”

There's also no option to violently sort out the pedlars of misinformation.
The queens speech was voted through by a majority of 16 yesterday.
As part of that, a proposed lib-dem amendment for a 2nd referendum on the WA vs Remain. (finally, imho the only sensible and meaningful possible way out for all).
That will probably be why boris is goading labour into an election commitment as early as monday, to avoid chancing that passing.

No, maybe i have. I didn't see that tbf, just that Jo had written to labour asking them to back it, yesterday. I'm not sure now.
There you go though, not the staunch biased remainer some make him out to be, Bercow. But they will still argue that anyway.
