;-) wouldn't surprise me - I can't keep up myself which sectors are striking each week

It would be along the lines of my usual luck. Either that or it will be the coldest wettest December on record in Portugal, I managed to upset the locals by sparking that heatwave in early May. Having just returned from a trip to Croatia where I managed to initiate several spectacular thunderstorms, I am confident that either in my forthcoming visit next week or the one in December I will manage some climatic chaos.

All welcome....a bluemoon escape from the election retreat in the Algarve, 16/17 degrees quite possibly pleasant sun shine a Euro for a Sagres, tons of fit birds to look at, football constantly on in the Bar below the apartment.....or Wind rain sleet snow thunder and lightning, frost, fog, Boris Johnson, Jeremy Corbyn, Ant & Dec and father bastard Xmas!

What a fucking good idea of mine to take advantage of our fellow blue...Mr O Leary,s kind offer of 10 quid flights to Faro a few weeks ago.
Fellow blue he may well be, but my experiences of Ryanair are so negative, I see that as chucking a tenner out of the window.

Not had a problem with them apart from the seats will probably give you piles if you fly with them to often.

Oh and you cant wind the windows down and flick a fag out over Cheadle Hulme like you could on the old Dan air Comets and British Airways Viscounts of youth lol

Causing Climatic chaos! - Be prepared to wake up in the middle of the night during a thunder storm with Gretna giving you the death stare

I am actually quite surprised that having been down there 4 times I have yet to bring on a huge thunderstorm.I woke up one morning in March and it was absolutely hammering down and I thought we were in business. Alas within half an hour the sun was out. I have a long and distinguished record of summoning up epic Thunderstorms whenever I leave the UK.

I will be making several attempts this winter at adding Portugal to the list of places that I have got piss wet through.

Construed as, 'Look, we're not helping ourselves here, we've been screaming for a deal from the PM, and the bastard
has gone and got one, plus, saying we'd get another deal , then campaign against it wasn't too clever, so we'll just have to
suck it up and go for it'
To be fair he really didn't come across as agreeing on the election through gritted teeth.... But I do think he had run out of places to hide (regardless of whether you think that the Tory's brought this on themselves)

They didn't change the leader despite an overwhelming vote from their members to do so... so no chance now
Not from members.

Ideal world. Labour overall majority. New extension for referendum....

Best you can hope for world. Hung Parliament and Remainy parties have most of popular vote. Johnson resigns. Queen asks him who should be PM. He says Corbyn should get the chance. Other parties say no chance - Parliamentary labour party says try Starmer. Corbyn resigns as party leader. Corbynistas resign en masse and lose control of NEC. New referendum under PM Starmer. "Let's do in Brexit"

I could try and sell that to anti Corbyn labour voters.

At which point do you wake up?

Climb back under your duvet as the coming months are going to upset you i think Vic.

He won't but neither will the Tories
Don't need a moat my friend. The lookout will let me know of trouble if anything encroaches on my 3,000 acre estate.

Actually, being serious for 1 moment, your post illustrates what a fucking mess you've got yourself into, if you imagine that all Tories are toffs who are loaded.

Most of us live on housing estates, estates which have abandoned Labour.
