FFS. I know I will get shot by both sides but can everyone stop with the condescension and insults. Everyone has valid points to make and the topic of how the UK negotiates this year with the EU and others is as delicate and as important as it gets. It would be nice to be able to discuss it on here without a degeneration into name calling and shite. If @mcfc1632 stops with the attitude and general condescension, can everyone else stop with the insults. Please.

I don’t read everything from everyone mate. I do read much of yours which you may take as a backhanded complement. It’s not just you I challenge and sometimes fall out with btw as others could no doubt testify. Just think sometimes that abrasive approach sometimes deflects from the good stuff that is worth digging for ;-)

All sounds very reasonable, but........

Would sound more reasonable (and demonstrate balance) if you could point to even any posts of the nature I mentioned.

I do not think you can - and I do not mean that in a 'barbed' way.

You do not need to make any posts to pull up pack members as they indulge themselves in agging Leave posters off at my behest.

I am just explaining that until I see such balance I will view such admonishments of myself as a bit high-handed and not be too motivated to comply

No big deal mate - hopefully you can see from my response that I see you as someone worth replying to with effort - unlike others[/QUOTE]

I have him on ignore but always know who other posters are responding to.

The guy is poison and needs a ban.

And do you have any content or are you again reduced to blathering.

Yesterday I came across the 'Rise of the far right thread' - I did not realise for quite a few pages that it was from months ago

I have to say - you were a star - the thread was a great mixture of you being skewered by people with more knowledge than you but with your need to engage and make a fool of yourself anyway because you just cannot stop yourself

You 'going again'?

I've just got back from the match and I'm happily pissed.

I'll be sober tomorrow but you'll still be a reactionary knownothing.

How homoerotic have the last few pages been?

I’m saying 9, on a scale of 0 to 10, with 0 being not homoerotic at all.
"We will not see movement from the EU unless and until they face the prospect of a viable walk-away option and the political will to use it."

Please. For the love of god. Can you stop repeating this.

It's just foreplay.

But what about the mud wrestling I was promised?

What is clear now is that previously the UK was negotiating with initially one arm tied behind its back before then finding that Johnson had both tied behind his back.

Firstly, this was the result of May deciding that we couldn't even suggest we would leave with no deal and then putting Europhille insider Olly Robbins in charge of negotiations. By the time Johnson became PM he was up against a rampant Remain Parliament which completely undermined any negotiating stance.

That has now dramatically changed. With an 80 seat majority based on a manifesto pledge to leave the EU by the end of January and then conclude the final relationship talks by the end of 2020 Johnson is in a far stronger position. The EU knows he can deliver any agreement reached or he can decide what is on offer isn't acceptable and then we leave on WTO terms.

Does this mean that the UK with get everything it wants from any final agreement? Absolutely not but what but what it does mean is that we don't have to give the EU everything it wants. It will come down to a point where both sides have to decide if what is on offer fits with their vital interests.

Very balanced and succinctly put. I expect the usual folk will be along to abuse you shortly.

Christ am away for Xmas and new year when I left all was good ,the WA was passed employment was a record high, ftse was up the pound had strengthened business confidence had returned and growth forecasts had improved .

have all the remain experts predictions finally proved correct and it’s all gone to shit back home

People having different views to me don't bother me in the slightest. I post my views as that's what forums are for & I doubt anyone has ever changed their opinion on anything as a result of reading an opposing viewpoint.

As for abuse...water off a ducks back :)

Yes.....

Either - when people stop denying the truth if it

Or

3 months after I have not seen @Vic mention FTZ between Japan and Alaska

Whichever is sooner

Strange you have not posted the same request to Vic?

Well said

Negotiation is so much more satisfying than abject surrender

Armageddon has steadfastly refused to descend on the UK

Remainers are patiently waiting and occupying themselves whilst they wait expressing angst about how unfair the referendum campaign was
