Which is why Labour can't get elected on the votes of the Many because it's the poor who are now the Few. Many of the Many are selfish.

Who, exactly are ‘the poor’. Let’s say it’s the homeless, those in temporary accommodation or the long term unemployed. I’d suggest that demographic doesn’t vote anyway so any policy designed to take their ‘benefits’ away will always get support and any in support of that demographic won’t because those in power know they won’t go to the ballot box

If that's most baffling to you then ....selective myopia? Artificial unintelligence?, but joking aside ( :), guarantee we will not leave and every compromise is in play but that would negate every single brexit intention of escaping EU democracy . And off we go again on the brexit magic roundabout, same old lies same old victimhood ......tickets please, mind the gap, just needs the "We are sorry to announce the brexit excursion to lalaland has been cancelled. This is due to a shortage of passengers and credibility. Thank you for waiting your custom is important to our shareholders.
More like signing up for a mystery excursion then everyone on it is disappointed because it can't to the destination they thought was promised, cake and eat it island.

What selfishness would that be exactly eh Vicky? Wanting to hang on to half the money I earn so I can support my family, meany old me? Or do you have some other "sin" in mind?
Yes! Other families must take priority over your own, you evil, selfish, fascist!

Now give me your stuff, i'm poorer and I deserve it.

;)

Is that what we all do as parents?

I pay for Rugby lessons for my lad and dancing for my girls but i dont pay for anyone elses kids do I?

They are only 8 but come the end of secondary school and exams time they will get every spare penny I have spent on them for tutors if they need them to get the required grades and again, i wont be paying for any other kids and yes it will be to give mine an advantage.
At the expense of a poorer child who is actually better at rugby or dancing or both. Justify it how you like, but don't pretend it doesn't cause harm and disadvantage to others.

Define "selfish".

Go on, we could all do with a laugh. If you're feeling shy, I am sure Rascal can join you and then we can laugh at both of you so you don't feel isolated.

What the actual fuck are you going on about?

Now my kids shouldn't go to Rugby or dancing because someone else's kids dont or cant?

Are you well Vic?

I am being serious here.

It's all relative. I have more than I need to live on - but perhaps now worry more about the future than I would have done under cradle to grave welfare state. Did I buy a season ticket at City for someone else's child? No. Would I have paid more tax so all children could have extramural sport and dance and music? Yes.

Honestly I find it astonishing that even someone as deluded as you could post that. Really absolutely astonishing.

And what do you want to do with the poor child who is better at rugby? Since they have this unfair advantage, should we break their leg or something, just to bring them back down to the average level?

So you are the absolute arbiter of what is and what is not selfish now, are you? Is that how it works?

It's an inherent bias in that the poor are more transient and less likely to be registered to vote (and Tories have a track record of gerrymandering).

How?

Pay full market rate for it or just take it?

Then what?

Give it to the poor? What do they do with it?
Plenty of historic arguments for it so I'll not write a manifesto. But the Poll Tax vastly benefited the wealthy by detaching tax from occupation of land. Reversing that would be a start.

Yep a revised deal that alters or deals with the backstop in a meaningful way should get through but you know what mate?

It wont because despite the protestations of many in the house saying they just want to stop no deal.....its bullshit.

They want to stop brexit.

Yep it doesn’t matter what the deal is. They won’t vote for it as they don’t want brexit. The biggest hurdle to leaving is a parliment full of remainers

I will say the liberals and labour members have gone into complete meltdown over this. Mass hysteria
