The supreme source of law in the UK is an Act of Parliament. He can’t defy an Act. Anything short of that, and it depends what it is.
So what happens if he ignores one? This is a point of curiosity for me, your PM sets the agenda for parliament seemingly but our dail sets the agenda for the Taoiseach and our president has a far more active role than your queen.

Most of the time is loading and unloading these days mate. There's very little difference between Dublin to Calais and Cork to Roscoff.
That wasn't the discussion but thanks anyway. (Although the distance difference in those routes is 200 nautical miles so not sure on your point).

Like remainers are obsessed with Farage?

I use Verhofstadt because he's the most vocal, and also the example of the type of Europhile I despise and the type I wish to see eradicated from the idea of "Europe". Tusk, for example, was not approving of the language Verhofstadt used in his discussions of the brexit situation. Tusk is more level headed, and he himself warned about the EU's obsession with wanting more sovereign powers, and ignoring the public.

His is not a minority view, it's growing, and if Verhofstadt's vision of Europe is one truly shared by people in Europe, it is not a "Europe" I wish to be associated with, as a citizen.

Ignoring the public or representing the growing view of the people of Europe? He's clever to do both.

That's daft enough but he's an Anglophile - he wants the best for the UK.

Depends what the sanctions contained in the Act are. He could go to prison. In theory.

And yet it was Verhofstadt who pushed forward the idea of emergency medicine and food for the UK, in the event of a no deal, to ensure in his words “European citizens are looked after”.

He’s not even close to the same level as the immigrant hating Farage.

I see the unelected, unaccountable John Bolton has been promising a ‘brilliant trade deal’ following discussions with the unelected and unaccountable Dominic Cummings. Dominic is also at the forefront of doing ‘whatever it takes, including proroguing parliament if necessary, to secure a no-deal Brexit.
#takingbackcontrol.

In other news, Boris announces that he now has a ‘war-cabinet’ (made up of 6 men just like his hero Winston Churchill) and that any MPs opposed to Brexit are, in fact, “collaborators”. He doesn’t want no-deal (why not, if it’s going to be so brilliant, one may wonder?) but is now promoting the message that no deal will be the ‘fault’ of remainers, the Irish and the rest of the untrustworthy EU members. Again, why bother, if no-deal is where it’s at?

Him and his mates certainly do own the language of, and are still fascinated by, the Second World War and it’s similarity to the Brexit situation. Can’t see it myself but the comments on the bbc and mail are full of the usual pithy comments like:“it’s a pity treason doesn’t still carry the death penalty”.

so the referendum was a test of patriotism now was it? funny how I missed that on the side of buses, in campainging and on the ballot paper. We really are being dragged into a dark place by Johnson and Cummings aren't we?

Looking forward to the speakers next appearance.

Corbyn has a new plan. A plan so cunning that... anyway it’s to get remainders from all parties to appoint him as a temporary Prime Minister so he can block Brexit.

No such altruism for British citizens in Europe though, eh.

The man seethes with anglophobic rhetoric.
