I’ll run my posts via my Legal Dept prior to posting next time.

Incidentally the option to extend is in a mutually agreed international treaty. The provision to extend might be an option the other party may wish to take up. Seems we are (again) being a bit high handed by unilaterally announcing a mutually agreed provision is void before the international treaty even comes into force. Seriously how weak and pathetic do you have to be to start ruling out options over a month before the treaty comes into force? Don’t we trust ourselves not to extend? It’s like an alcoholic pouring all drink down the sink in case they are tempted.

seems so - but why they are wasting their time posting on here and not giving radio interviews about their knowledge and experience on the subject and presenting their credential to Johnson so they can add their quality to our negotiating team is beyond me - if they don't get on the team my worry is it will all go tits up.

I type something, having it mean something else and it gets disected, even after I explain what I meant by it.

They will vote against changing the Withdrawal Act on workers' rights or amendments to rule out an extension to transition. (And there must still be Tory MPs who don't want No Deal and don't want a government job and will not be standing next time who can be truthful about how bad No Deal could be.) But they will abstain on the final vote; even if the great British public voted for Brexit there's no way they should share responsibility for what could be a Tory-led economic disaster.

Reply to the first part, I'm over the election, knew that was coming. I've been telling Corbyn supporting friends for 3 years he is a disaster and the worst thing that could have happened. One of them. Shame you feel the need to post bitchy little comments like 'get over it'. You can stick that right up your arse.
As for the second part, there will be no one happier than me if I've got this all wrong, but I'm not wrong. Boris Johnson and his government are not about substance, they are about making promises that people will like. They will blame the civil service when the impossible things they have promised can't be done as it will never be their fault. I get that you wanted brexit, but you have handed the keys to a complete fucking charlatan who does not know what he's doing.

Substitute England for Germany and Scotland for the UK and you have the criticisms a number of people have about the UK's relationship with the EU.

I keep saying the IndyRef was a trial run for the EURef.

1. Sorry to offend your sensibilities with 'get over it' - I will genuinely apologise, but also observe that it is just as well that you have not been a Leaver on this forum for these years if you are so easily offended.

2. Sorry - but "....but I'm not wrong....." - give over - how are you qualified to make that statement - clue - you are not
