So, i'm asking here now. If you don't consider "Ok boomer" offensive, and nobody has complained to you about it's usage, what was the incentive behind saying I don't hold a moral high ground after using it last week?

There was no incentive, it was just my personal opinion. I didn’t realise that I was no longer allowed to express my views on here.

There must have been a reason for posting said opinion instead on not making it public. What were you hoping to achieve by highlighting to me directly your opinion I held no high ground for posting a phrase you yourself did not find offensive, nor anyone had complained to you about?

This whole thread has revolved around those who wanted to take the risk and those who didn’t.

We’re going to no deal it in all probability.

Maybe it’s because it’s late, but I’m not sure I understand the point you’re trying to make? I wasn’t hoping to achieve anything per se. I was merely pointing out that you were coming across a bit like a teenage girl with the “Boomer” stuff. Hope that helps.

When youR Prime Minister can’t sack his chief advisor for being a **** during a pandemic because he is the only person that Boris deems up to the task of advising him at the cost of X lives, it becomes apparent that we are being lead by a lazy, over educated clown that fancied the title of PM without the responsibility that goes with it.

Whilst someone like Cummings is leading, we’re heading down the US route of an agitator leading, which leads to the further divide of people. This is awesome politically as it ensures that, as long as you can be popular, that you’ll win elections, but at the cost of society fracturing exponentially.

Look at the US. We’re on the same plain are they are, but 4 years behind and they haven’t left their secure trading bloc.

As I say, the next 5 years are going to be brutal for lower paid workers and families.

Well, not really because it sounds like it was to discredit my character in some way. Even though you had no objections to the term other than finding it "childish" (i assume) when it's a common usage term for those in my generation?

Because right there you're making a judgement of my generational background without (admittedly) knowing the true cultural origins of the term. Is my brand of personality too abrasive, too... unaccepted amongst this, presumably older generation community of fellow Blues?

I assume this forum was a place where multiple personalities clashed, mixed and mingled and I have grown up differently to a lot of people on here and I'm much younger. Was it the memes?

I didn't vote for BoJo personally so techincally he's not MY PM, but OUR PM, if that's what you intended to mean.
I voted Green. Previous to that it's been a mix of Lib Dem and Labour. But you don't care about that.

I'm really not interested in your rants about the current Govt, nor do I care about them. They're in power, nothing I can do until the next elections. But yeah, i'm satisfied that the country I live in is no longer tied to that political/trading bloc which was going down a route I could not endorse nor support. Maybe they'll see the light and cease their plans for a federal EU; can't support it until then.

Yeah I never post about City, that's an... observation...

Mainly as I'm not as connected to the Blues, I can't really afford to go to matches and when they do play i'm usually working so it's BBC Manchester for me. I don't have much City related insight to bore people with, put that down to my anxiety I guess; I hate to sound like I have insight on City when in reality I know only what I discover on the MCFC website and from more informed contributors on here, although I do remember contributing to the parade threads and posting memes there, way back when.

The whole brexit debate kind of took up a lot of my time on here, admittedly, not by choice, but by the number of people on here wanting to tell me I was wrong. But at least I know i'm not considered a significant contributor on here. But to my credit i'm one of the more positive folks on the match day threads. I must be given some kudos for that at least.

I can go to City, technically, and whenever a spare ticket pops up I accept, but would sooner spend my money elsewhere as accessibilty to City matches are much easier as I cannot justify the price of a ticket when other things need paying for. I trust you're not as condemning to other Blues who don't go to games (oh no, you're not a "Bigger Blue" are you?)

Been all around the UK, but never left these shores, no. Travelling abroad doesn't really interest me like it does others. Quite happy going camping in the peak district in all honesty.

My argument on leaving the EU was based on news articles, information about what the EU was intending, statements made by MEP's, various actions by the EU towards it's members, and a growing dissatisfaction with membership that steadily grew into resentment at the authoritarian attitudes of the Euro Parliament.
