Now that it’s becoming clear to even the dotards in charge that any trade negotiations with the US while Trump’s in charge are utterly pointless, presumably that takes away much of the leverage we have previously pretended to have in our EU negotiations.

You do post some gratuitously silly shit

Not reading the detailed FT article takes nothing away from any of my posts

Your desperation is increasingly showing

Marinading nicely at the moment. A delicious tang with notes of raspberry and self-own. Going to give it a while longer.

Did the Gina Miller court case not establish that was required. The principle that Parliament is sovereign and not the government.
My understanding is parliament still get a vote, but the GE resulted in such a big brexit/tory majority that it hardly matters now. Ms Miller only wanted brexit 'scrutinised' when there was a remain majority.

It is still a hurdle for Johnson to get over. Any deal will get picked over and any hint of EU rules / regulatory alignment will needle the ERG. I would be genuinely shocked if he could get such a deal through without at least a handful of Tory rebels. Some of them will never be satisfied.

Of course, but I suppose that's where the size of the majority comes in to play. I suspect he could get mays deal or one very much like it through now.

Our esteemed UK negotiator David Frost. Seems it his turn today with a conclusion so dumb it’s difficult to know where to start.

Finally, I want to be clear that the Government will not agree to ideas like the one currently circulating giving the EU a new right to retaliate with tariffs if we chose to make laws suiting our interests. We could not leave ourselves open to such unforeseeable economic risk.‘

Bothered?

You guys have much experience with people from Eccles, Weaste and Lower Broughton???

If so - come across many Tories??

No - you are simply incapable of objective thinking and have never gotten your heads around the simple fact that not all Brexit supporters are Tories

Dont know why you keep using where you were brought up,as a shield against accusations of being a Tory perhaps.

Where you are from,is less important than where you are now.

Tory.
;)

I wonder if Frost has been getting his instructions from a certain Conservative voting traditional Labour supporter on here. It’s about as coherent as his posts and has a similar relationship to reality (i.e. none).

Miller just required Parliament to authorise the invocation of article 50. All the votes on deals in Parliament were government bowing to pressure from MPs for a meaningful vote on any deal. Johnson got all Conservative candidates in the GE to agree to support his deal (the WA and PD they are now trying to abort) and any final treaty is entirely under royal prerogative.

So Tory MPs who don't like any deal he does or no deal, have two choices. Either loyalty to a promise to Johnson to support a deal he's already tearing up (and maybe a no deal that he told them was a million to one against) or the good of the country.

(I think that's drafted to cover either ERGers who don't like his BRINO deal or responsible MPs who know (from the economic forecasts that he's kept secret from them) what a disaster no deal would be.)

Nah. Liar Johnson took personal charge last week (yet again).

How would you know???

You say you don't read them

Or were you lying to others than just yourself??

Please get over me - you will never get signed photos - no matter how much you show everyone just how desperate you need for my attention is

Recognise yourself?
How do you know I was talking about you?

I think they were the solicitors who represented my Great Aunt when she sued the care home over conjugal rights visitation.
You are clearly trying to be a smart arse - but coming across to me as an utter ****

I believe that I can say that now because it is a description used on a number of threads by Remainers or left wingers. If not can someone let me know and I will edit my post.

But let's assume that you are more than just a **** - that would mean that you are suggesting that I am lying about my background????

So - unless you are just an utter **** - that would/should mean that you have some substance for that challenge.

So - let's discuss your knowledge of the area and please challenge me - because I will enjoy exposing you for the smart arse **** you seem to be....

I will go first....

I was brought up in a council house in Winton and my nearest pubs were the Egerton and Ellesmere - although I drank in the Brown Cow

I moved to Ladywell flats - which was much different in the late 70s than it is now.

I worked at Weaste dairy and Wimpeys in Weaste and my nan died at the hospital there - it has not existed for many years

At a difficult time in my life I lived on the 6th floor of Cannon Green Court - (the Braziers Arms was a shit pub but sold good beer) and Wordsworth Street in Lower Broughton

So that is a starter for 10 - are you man enough to apologise for questioning my background??

Or - if you think I have just googled that stuff - please come back and challenge me.

I will never tire of handing you your arse
