I'm sorry if I misread anything but first you liked a post complaining that people just copy and paste stuff
then (next post) you copied and pasted the article about CANZUK. (If you had read any contrary view, why didn't you mention that others think the idea is rubbish?)
Then you claimed "The politician most behind it is Trudeau, from Canada" which just isn't true, is it?
I hate to alienate anyone truly with an open mind but you made plain what you think of most people on here:
"I can’t fucking stand remainers and I can’t fucking stand brexiteers... ....Two sets of clueless faux experts who couldn’t tell you more than the basics of what either side of the argument is all about".
I said; “I’m very open to any criticism of CANZUK”
And you said, three times; “cutting and pasting "news" of an alliance to save the UK without bothering with any criticism of it,”;
“You won't read contrary views.”;
“He...hadn't read and doesn't want to read anything countering the idea.”
That’s not you misreading owt. You seem to want to make me look like a knob head by lying about me, sunshine.
Did it cross your mind I might have liked that fella’s post because of the first line in it, not the bit about copy and pasting?
I thought that’s what I read about Trudeau, it may well be false, but I said it once, I don’t keep posting it.
Well it’s true. I’ll maintain, anyone who’s on polar opposite ends of an argument usually don’t want to know and will never accept anything positive about the other end of the argument. It’s like a personality disorder.
I have an open mind because even after I’d voted Remain I’d never have called myself a Remainer because there’s no way I could be 100% right. Much in the same way I never call myself a Labour supporter or left wing, even though I’ve mostly voted for Labour in elections. I’ve done that because I’ve agreed more with a Labour manifesto than I have others, but I have never fully agreed with one and I’ve found policies of other parties to be spot on too. These aren’t football clubs so none of them are my side and I’m open to positives from any party, just like I am about leaving the EU.
I tend to steer clear of views of people who are fanatics or extremists on the [any] topic. Fanatics and extremists are usually blinkered fools. It’s impossible that either end of an argument are 100% right, but they think they are.
Have you (and others at your end) ever switched your computer on in the morning and said to yourselves; “right, let’s find something positive about Brexit, it’ll be good for my mood, oh and I’ll post it on Bluemoon because it’ll be good for that thread n’all”?
Because I reckon (I may be wrong) that that thought has never crossed your mind. In fact I’ll bet every thought you have on the topic is the complete opposite, you only look for negatives, and I’ve never seen your band of misery merchants ever agree with anything that’s offered up by the pro-Leavers neither, even if it’s reasonable to agree with or positive.
Was it you or one of the other misery merchants who laughed at someone for posting about a deal with Kenya, recently?
A deal with Kenya is a great idea. Britain buys £75,873,029 worth of tea and coffee from Kenya every year. Not a huge amount of money but actually more than we give Belize for sugar so it’d be good for us if we can get a deal to keep the prices as they are and good for them than we keep buying from them. So why’s that funny?
Plus the misery merchants on here all come across a bit suspect, like you’re all here on the WUM. Offering nothing but negativity, opposing anything that’s slightly pro-Leave or could possibly be positive post-Brexit, doom and gloom at every turn.
In a way I feel a bit sorry for you, it must be quite tiresome for you all to be living through such a negative experience. But then in other ways I think you sadistically revel in the misery of it.
You do know that you don’t have to do that anymore, don’t you? It’s not a month before the 2016 Referendum or the 2019 General Election where you very well might have felt you needed to put your views across in every post to sway people to vote how you wanted them to vote. That ship has now sailed, my friend. It’s gone. It’s not coming back no matter how much you want it to. But the answer to that isn’t to come on here and carry on with your fanaticism. That’s just proper sad, fella. Like a man still bitter about the girl who left him, still talking shit about her.
Now is the time for the whole country to pull together to find the best way to move forward. All of us should be looking for positives. There have been too many divisions in the last 6 years in this country, opened up by people just like you and your counterparts on the other side.
