Another new Brexit thread

Yet the whistleblowers say differently.

As you say awkward.
Sorry? - We are talking about the findings of the UK's Information Commissioner here

Do you understand that role?

Let me guess - the UK's Information Commissioner is lying?

Desperation or what?

Thank-you. I do try to be nice and if I do take the piss it's to avoid a direct clash. I'm also happy to leave the thread for a bit if it helps the holy trinity feel better about themselves.
Well frankly it would save us all a lot of time correcting palpable rubbish like this:

Thanks for the lorry parks again. 7000 a day wasn't it? 35000 by the end of week one - minus of course the trickle that manage to navigate the beurocracy and make it over the channel. Probably not a bad thing as I'm not sure there would be enough ferries for the 7000 per day anyway. Also not sure where they'd come from as the UK largest fleet is a couple of hundred - maybe the EU would like their lorries back so they will ease friction somehow :-)
Stobarts alone have over 2,500 vehicles. There are nearly half a million commercial vehicles (over 3.5 tons) registered in the UK.

Tbh if the remain campaign had done a decent job of selling the EU rather than just taking the piss out of leavers for various then I think the vote would have gone firmly the other way.
To the Victor the spoils.
And responsibility and accountability.
So Leave have to answer for what they said and promised.
They said we would get a good deal but if we didn't then no deal would not be a problem.
They did not say there was a risk of 'national self harm'.
Having won the referendum you cannot then morally justify different outcomes to those you promised on the basis it was OK to lie because your opponents did.

Oh - I don't know....;-)

We had a 'David and Goliath' contest - a small and poorly funded 'campaign' against the might of the UK government - the UK establishment and the might of the EU - along with sundry other worthies such as the POTUS

And the Remain team lied and lied and lied....

Bless - so the Leave team seem to have also told some porkies / exaggerated / bullshitted / invented etc.

Pardon me if I am not personally feeling any need whatsoever to 'morally justify' anything to Remainers on this thread. I am content to go with your first comment/line - "To the Victor the spoils".

Respect to @Mazzarelli's Swiss Cheese if he feels so compelled

No - instead it is satisfying to just reflect on those facts and how the post-referendum machinations of the Remain factions - so confident of achieving the cancellation of Brexit that they have actually royally fucked up and brought about the prospect of a much harder Brexit than would/should have ever been possible.

So, as a committed Leaver, credit to them - perhaps you should look to them to morally justify their fuck ups
