I don't understand the wankfest over this kid, Barcelona released this kid and they're judgements of players are good then he had a trial at Blackburn and they didn't take him on? I hope I'm proved wrong.

He was offered a trial at blackburn but he turned it down, he had serious knee injury which stumped his development... he was very highly rated by all at barca but he wanted first team football with xavvi, iniesta, messi the emergence of pedro he run down his contract.

I'm not saying we have players like Xavi, Iniesta and Messi but we have quite alot of options in our midfield that could hinder his development. Also, most players have injury troubles but if you're good enough then your club will keep you! And Fabregas and Pique on one side of the seesaw will be flown up in the air by Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Busquets, Pedro, Puyol to name many. I bet if we sign this kid, we won't hear anything from him and his development for a few years, if you're a world class player like we're looking for, you stand out at 17, 18 and 19. Gai is 19 and hasn't stood out yet. Like I said, I hope I'm proved wrong :)
