Short term there is a big lad playing in one the the less fashionable teams by the name of Caicedo. Looks like a premiership type of player, fukc that goon ballotelli off, he is a massive waste of money. Replace him with the big lad, give Carlos something to feed off

Through the cheque book at Pep Guardiola, he wants to come to Britain, so why not with the richest club in the country. Just imagine, attacking football!!! Messi? It could actually be fun watching City..........

Caicedo couldnt cut it first time, a few goals in one season doesnt make him our saviour, and a monkey could be the Barca team and its going to be class, the only thing we need from Barca is copying they re academy system as that is the source of all there success

Caicedo is 22 years old. He was just 19/20 when he first started playing for us so you can understand why he may not have been cutting it in his first time in the big time.

I think he has done more than enough to be in the squad ahead of Jô.

As for Pep. I think he will be for us what Mourinho was for Chelsea. Right now I think we have our Gullit or Vialli (Chelsea's managers in 1996 and 1998). I think Pep will be here in 8 years time after a good stint of Mancini then one other who'll be here for 3 or 4 years.

I personally see Pep as a one-team man. When he leaves Barca, whenever that is, I don't think he will want to manage any other team. I can see him turning down £1m a week just because he doesn't want to manage elsewhere. If he did manage any other team, I'm not convinced he would live up to his reputation. He knows how Barca works and he knows their players. I don't think he could do it anywhere else.

I could be wrong of course.

It is hard to be a bad coach with the talent, structure and legacy available at Barcalona. if I were president of a club, I'd never consider hiring the coach of Barcelona. Coz you can never tell if the coach is good, or perhaps just an incidental beneficiary of the talent and system.

Decisions on who to play is not really hard when you have Messi, Iniesta, Xavi and Villa.

"Hey, Messi why do you play up top. Sounds good?" "Xavi, I think I'd like to try you in the middle, you know, run the team!" "Iniesta, why don't you support Xavi, and pick up whatever magic he forgets to showcase - Yes?"

Seriously, can't be that hard.

when all said and done look what happened when jose left chelsea.... they brought a world cup winning manager in scolari... he ballsed up big time even with the players they had

are there any quotes of pep saying he wants to manage over here?

Heard it said a few times, apparently he keeps refusing to sign a long term deal with Barca and refuses to rule England out. The word is he may bugger off to England very soon.

You must be new to football, 10goals in 19games dosnt look like a waste of money to me. If you want to talk about worthless wastes of money have a look at Dzeko.

I agree with bringing Caicedo back though.

Reckon if he comes to england he is landing in heathrow and getting a taxi straight to the emirates.
