Dont need another centre back especially if its going to cost 100mill.we need a fullback and some midfielders if bernardo and ilkay move on.So cant see it.

it's his initial price after signing contract in his first year, i imagine it will be lower one or two season. High price tag is a means to protect him from bigger club to snatch him early.

We will need him especially how injured prone our CB right now, maybe not next summer but after that who knows.

Is Silva Portugals version of Smith?
If the Forebears website is to be believed it's the most common name in Portugal. Unsurprisingly as a consequence it's also hugely common in Brazil where there are over 4 million Silvas!

Not as common as I assumed it would be in Spain (111th most common name) seems like it is much more a Portuguese than Spanish name so Bernardo is a common or garden Silva but David is a little bit rarer!

Re. Antonio, I guess we'll be keeping tabs on any significant emerging talent and we've done good business with Benfica before but this seems like a huge stretch to me. Feels like the website jus padding out a bit of content.

He is doing very well. I think the most impressive about him is his mentality he doesn’t look 18 at all, fears nobody.
That being said he still makes some mistakes and is not ready to leave yet (especially for city, level is too high). At least two more years here to confirm his potential then we will see, but I think he will be world class in the future.
Comparing to Ruben he is better than Ruben was at 18 but players develop in different ways so that doesn’t mean a lot.
