I'm off there for my hols. Anyone been and able to offer any tips on places to visit, see ect ?

Thanks in advance.

I used to live near there years ago.

Lovely part of the world down there. Can't remember too many places specifically in Antibes, but you can't go far wrong. Loads of other places to visit nearby too.

Nice
Port Grimaud (where i actually lived)
St Tropez
St Maxine
St Raphael

Is it fuck!

I spent a fortune down that way a couple of weeks back.

7 and a half Euro's for a pint of Grimbergen!

Antibes itself visit Chez Felix, Graham Greene's favourte bar. The owner will regale you of tales of Mr Greene if he's in the mod. Also Greene's tiny, unauspicious apartment in Antibes, with plaque outside. Fantastic railway service to all the places you ever read about. Go to Nice or Monaco for the day.

Me too (Frejus) and loved it. Nice old town or far end of beach (rocky bit) for weed.
Gorge du Verdon for stunning scenery and rock diving.
Pastis and boiled eggs for breakfast.
Everywhere for beautiful girls.
Marseille and Monaco for footy grounds.

And all dirt cheap !!!!!!!!

Hahahahahah gtf, no doubt you've not ventured further than Brighton but the South of France is certainly not cheap

Went a few months ago and stayed in Frejus, which is about 40mins south of Antibes. Monaco is definitly worth a visit as is Cannes both of which are under 25 mins away - easily. Theres a huge marine park in Antibes which if you are going with kids they will love. Have a look at Monacos ground it is one of the strangest grounds I have ever seen - you will see what I mean if you go.
