Look at his defensive stats (excellent).
Interesting…
Interesting…
He's contributed nothing this season and it looks like Pep is reluctant to play him.Harsh on Marmoush that ;)
Dyche will have absolutely fuck all say in where any player they sell goes. After City's recent win at Forest, don't think the Gravel-voiced Goblin would be too happy on Anderson leaving for the Etihad ?
He's a Geordie lad, so am guessing he will return to NUFC as would imagine at least one of Tonali, Bruno G & Joelinton will leave this summer...
If he’s being talked about as a £100m push player there’s no way Newcastle can afford himAfter City's recent win at Forest, don't think the Gravel-voiced Goblin would be too happy on Anderson leaving for the Etihad ?

If Forest decide to sell Anderson than I don't think Dyche will be a deciding factor on where he goes too. Same can be said for any manager at any club, when it comes to the next destination of departing players.
Not withstanding, given Forest's position and form, as well as the mental instability of their owner, how much longer will Dyche be there for?
Thats sacrilegeSupporters don't deserve to see such managers being employed to reduce their clubs to his level.
Have we worked out where Cherki's best position is yet. I think he's played well as an inside right but if Semenyo plays on the right, that displaces Cherki to the no.10 and possibly Foden to the no. 8. Another possibility is thatif Semenyo signs, one of Semenyo, Foden or Cherki will be on the bench. Neither is a problem as we need a strong squad which allows us to make subs. and changes from game to game.
I have been watching Semenyo play for Bournemouth over the last couple of games and he is given license to roam at Bournemouth. He is moving from the right to up front but he isn't going to get that flexibility at City. I also think that one of his strengths is carrying the ball from deep. That works at Bournemouth because they are often under pressure and counter-attacking is a big part of his game. Semenyo is ideal in that role because he can hold the ball under pressure, and he can go both ways, and score. City do not counter-attack so much.
Savinho beats defenders continually but has a poor end product. The stats show that Semenyo has a better end product but I question whether at City he will be able to beat defenders as readily as Savinho does, and as readily as he does playing for Bournemouth. I am still in favour of City signing him, but I don't think it will be a transformative signing. My opinion of him has gone down a little since the transfer speculation started. I have been watching him and he hasn't played well in that time. Perhaps the transfer speculation has got to him or Bournemouth are in a very poor run.
When we were first linked with him I thought great, we are replacing a 0 goal winger for a 9 goal winger (over half a season) but that was probably a bit simplistic. I think Semenyo got a lot of those goals because he is afforded freedom to play where he wants at Bournemouth and because he fits Bournemouth really well. That might not be the case at City. I still want him to sign but I don't think it's going to change the course of the season.
Unlikely Dyche will be there in the summer. In fact, If they somehow manage to lose at West Ham on Tuesday he might not see the FA Cup third round! After City's recent win at Forest, don't think the Gravel-voiced Goblin would be too happy on Anderson leaving for the Etihad ?

I think Savinho and Semenyo have totally different profiles. Savinho is an out and out winger. To the eye he looks far quicker than Semenyo with the ball at feet, he has better better technique and far more skilfull. Semenyo is more of an inside forward and his skillset is nearer to Marmoush. He has more heart than Savinho and his end product is better.Love the folk that are critiquing his performances for Bournemouth but are probably quick to wank off Savinho for trying

Savinho is a hill I am prepared to die on. He has too much ability not to come good, imo.The main issue with Savinho is he has absolutely no end product at all. It doesn’t matter how fast he is, or skillful, he almost never scores or creates goals.
Honestly if we had an Olympic sprinter or a freestyle footballer they’d have the same productivity as Savinho, ie fuck all.
Even his lack of work rate could be forgiven if he actually scored regularly. Scoring or assisting frequently makes up for many flaws in a player’s game. Being skillful or quick is no good for a forward with no end product.
You think that because we beat forest in a league game and dyche complained about the refs that city will be blackballed? Reality is calling, answer the phone. After City's recent win at Forest, don't think the Gravel-voiced Goblin would be too happy on Anderson leaving for the Etihad ?

Savinho isn’t the end product yet either, same as Doku wasn’t 2 years ago. Doku still isn’t the finished article yet either. Savinho may or may not develop into the player we want he can be given time. Pep and the club obviously see enough in him to give him time and minutes. The main issue with Savinho is he has absolutely no end product at all. Seriously???Thats sacrilege
I'll have you know Dyche has a pub named in his honour .
Doesn't get better than that
Lol mate I knew he had a pub named after him..but thought it must be the Whinging **** or summat similar
I think with cherkis arrival we're overlooking how good doku has been this season. Even against Sunderland we looked much more lively with him on the pitch. Doku is a couple of tweaks from being a much better version of sterlingSavinho isn’t the end product yet either, same as Doku wasn’t 2 years ago. Doku still isn’t the finished article yet either. Yes agree, think he just needs so add a few goals and he will be a very good player. That said, think people forget just how good Sterling was and his sudden decline and last season clouds peoples memory of him.I think with cherkis arrival we're overlooking how good doku has been this season. When do we think Doku will be the finished article? He's played 275 senior games in his career.Savinho isn’t the end product yet either, same as Doku wasn’t 2 years ago.
