Speed of thought and decision making absolutely does drop with a lack of commitment and concentration. Odd to think it doesn't in fairness. Even if you dont throw in a move you could watch a game or two of any player and think they weren't much cop.There's things you can take into account - I wouldn't have been surprised if his commitment dipped, but decision making and speed of thought shouldn't.
None of this is me saying he's bad, I just think he'll be a big help when we can counter, but less of an improvement in games where teams sit deep. He'll still have a part to play.
