Antoine Semenyo | Medical at City Thursday - Sky (p230)

There's things you can take into account - I wouldn't have been surprised if his commitment dipped, but decision making and speed of thought shouldn't.

None of this is me saying he's bad, I just think he'll be a big help when we can counter, but less of an improvement in games where teams sit deep. He'll still have a part to play.
Speed of thought and decision making absolutely does drop with a lack of commitment and concentration. Odd to think it doesn't in fairness. Even if you dont throw in a move you could watch a game or two of any player and think they weren't much cop.

In your opinion.
No, just common sense, players develop with age and appearances, appearances depend more on the level they played at and who coached them. Age gives them more football intelligence and less likely to rush things. Only need to look at players like Mharez, Kane, Salah to see they played many games but never peaked until mid 20s. KDB was 24 when he joined us did he not get better after joining ?

I can't say that I have seen a great deal of his performances, so I am hoping that he is able to bring the impact and improved goal threat to the team that a number of posters on here believe him to be capable of.

Clearly the people who matter at the club believe that he can provide more goal threat /power to our attack, so once settled I hope he will prove them right and offer something different and make our attack more productive.

Would be great if he is able to impact quickly, but hope he isn't written off too quickly if he doesn't

Did none of them play more games though? It's the games and level that improved them not adding another year on to their age. Without checking I'd say none had played the best part of 300 games at 23 either, I doubt Mahrez had played a top division match at that age.

The positive side of things, which attracted me to him originally, is that he's a wide forward who scores. We haven't really any of them. He does feel more of a Pep Lijnders signing than a Pep Guardiola signing in some ways.

should have been here on the 2nd of January imo in tie to be registered for today game.

Bournemouth happy to delay this until his RC term expires and will charge buyers more next week.

we going to wait until the 10th eh? For absolutely no reason? That guy has a release clause how wasn’t this done by the 1st?

And to think there were several on here who thought it’d be a better idea to have him fuck about half heartedly for Bournemouth against Arsenal and not even bother getting him here for our game v Chelsea.

There’s a good few who outed themselves as being as clueless as the mob in the summer who were shouting from the rooftops that we shouldn’t bother with Donnarumma because he’s “shit with his feet”.

does anyone else think he will play on the left rotating with Doku while on the right it will be still Bernardo mostly?:)
would be typical Pep...
