I could see Pep wanting to refresh the squad and set up the club for the future before leaving. Desperately need to get KDB, Bernie, and Walker replacements into the squad within the next two summers. Rodri still has no heir apparent and we've been running him into the ground as well.

Hope Pep signs a year extension, gets some younger talent into the squad playing good football, and then rides off into the sunset after winning a couple more Premier League titles.

Pep seems like a vibes guy. There’s no way he meant to spend 9 years here, but he’s loving it and the players are giving him what he needs to stay motivated.

He could sign a small extension or just keep going until he either runs out of energy or the players stop listening in his mind.

10 more years please Pep!
