Any news on De Jong?

Has there been any update on his contract negotiations? It would be a real shame for this to drag out longer than it has to and him to feel unappreciated.

Nige says that he wants a new deal but the negotiatians have stalled for some reason, I really hope we can get this sorted out quickly and get Nige tied down for a long time.
Nige was a key player last season so I hope Robbie sees sense and gives him a deal soon

If the club want to keep him they will sort a new deal out as there is plenty of time left on his contract.

It may be that he isn't looked upon as a God by the club as he is on BM.

I can see why players like De Jong want more money because they look at what we pay to other crap like Adebayor,Bridge etc and think I am worth more than I get. We have created a monster with our wage structure which in my opinion is down to Cook and Hughes.

Problem is holding midfielders have a limited appeal and there are plenty of them around so I hope he isnt asking for too much.
