Any sensible weight loss advice?

Might well be my new year resolution, on top of more excersise.
 
i was in the same situation as you were, i was slightly overweight and unfit. lift weights at the gym. instead of watching tv try some exercise. eat properly (which you're doing now). you'll lose weight properly and safely that way. building muscle helps you burn fat, even if it's just toning up you dont have to pump iron every day just do it weekly. i had a belly a year ago and now i've got a nice six pack coming along with some hard work going to the gym 3 times a week and doing cardio like swimming or jogging.

i was being flippant earlier. Seriously, I had trouble with my hamstrings all last season and went up to 14 stone. Mixture of booze and chipper food.

The club put me on a 6 week programme of intense cardio and I've never felt better. 12 1/2 stone now and fitter stronger than i've ever been

I'm such a fat cnut at the moment and I haven't even started living it up for Christmas properly yet. Bought some nice suits in October and can't get in the trousers now.

I just like food too much and It doesn't bother me being a bit overweight but I don't want to get diabetes or have a heart attack before I'm 30..

When I've lost weight in the past, and what I plan to do in Jan is cereal for breakfast with skimmed milk - have a big bowl or you'll just be hungry by 10am - soup for lunch - a whole 500ml tub, a lot of the healthy ones only have 300 calories and fill you right up - and soup for tea. Don't eat bread. It's really fucking bad for you. Snack on bits of fruit or those low fat rice cake thinks if you need a bit of carbs.

Booze only once a fortnight. I replace booze with weed if I'm out on the lash - saves money as well.

If you can do this for a couple of months, it's not hard to lose more than two stone. It's boring but worth it when people start complementing you.

Can we have a Bluemoon online weight watchers club please? It will be gay as fuck but I don't care. We can swap tips and stuff.
