Anybody else missing the Derby?

I certianly am. Because of that ridiculous eruption yesterday i have now had to reschedule my flight to saturday morning, and because im flying to Tokyo i wont know the result until about 8am Sunday Morning.

Missing the game cause i'm working and no so called mates at work will take my shift or even swap it for early or late one...stupid manager is a spuds supporter and other ones a rag.

...btw i now its not the same as missing a flight but i feel your pain..slightly

I've a quarter final of a cup Saturday.. meeting at 1.45 for a 2.30 kick off!!

Needless to say I picked up an "injury" last night in training!!

Same with my kids - both due to play in the morning with me taxiing, but both picked up injuries after training this week! Would have all made it ok for kick off if they played, but you need a pre match pint don't you?

A bit insensitive I know, and I've struggled to not ask.... but this is a once a year opportunity at best, and I can't remember ever feeling so confident going in to a Derby mate...........

If anyone wants to pass their ticket on to a fellow blue, I'd be happy to take it off you. It's a bit tasteless I know, but you'd make my day/week/year/life!

Presuming they need flights to get over here its more than likely the mail would also need a flight to get here in time for the game. In other cases i guess you could get lucky.

I always thought they wouldn't for Derby matches? Or is that just the day of the game? Yeh i dont blame you :)

No reissues on the day of the game, but today they would be happy to. I've called them this morning to see if they had any returns - people can get a full refund up till 530pm. :)

I'm committed to being at Notts County tomorrow so will be setting off around 9am. I'm hoping to get there in time to see the game on TV in some way shape or form...if not it's radio 5 live for me...
