Anyone any advice for things to do in Cornwall?

booked a loverly cottage near Bude 25th june for 9 days then on to Bath for a few days looking forward to a nice holiday as we have only had a week off in the last 12 months, without all the airport and travel bollocks, anyway got there and it pissed down for 4 days straight thunder lightning the lot, got up 4th day she looks at me and says lets go home, on route home booked a week in Rhodes left the next morning,had a great time not a cloud in the sky beutiful place loverly people,so my advise and the moral of my tale is bloody obvious.
 
I am still here. In padstow today but it is pissing it down. Amazing day yesterday in carbis bay - but forecast not good for rest of week. Mrs ww moaning - trying to keep her happy. Moved from the first campsite as it was shite and moved to a new one. She is spending a fortune on ric stein plates and knives and forks as we speak and I am stood in a shop so could be in the Trafford centre! Wouldn't mind but she can't even turn the grill on.

Think I will be abroad next time! (3 weeks!). Ticked lands end of my bucket list though. Eden tomo!

Not long till the season. That's all that matters.

Thought it was a luxury lodge?
 
we had a great weekend but today has been a total wash out! I can't do the wandering around gift shops and drinking coffee all day so it's been a bit boring.

I suppose it's like a lot of holiday destinations in the UK, great when the weather is good but makes you wish you'd gone abroad when it's not. Hoping for better weather the rest of the week - off to Rick Stein's on Thursday
 
Ann's Pasties on the Lizard. You will not be disappointed!

We're staying at Padstow for two weeks from this weekend. I made a faux pas & will miss Peps first game, so gave my seat up to a friend for that one. Never mind, I'll find a pub & watch it over a couple of pints of Rattlers.

According to the met office it's gonna rain virtually non stop until the early hours of Wednesday morning !!
