Well p***ed off yesterday. Got into London early, planned to go to a couple of places in London and then head to the ground and have a drink or two and soemthing to eat.

Because of the blody tube closures and taking some bad advice on how to get round them we eneded up having to get a taxi for £40. Nothing to eat or drink and got to seats just as players were coming out. Taxi should have been more but the driver (Millwall fan) let us off and agreed the £40.

And I had a ticket in the WH end to try and sell but had no chance at that time.

Anyone else struggle with the tubes or was it just us that ****ed up.

No issues with the tube mate, Walked down to Kings Cross and took the Hammersmith line straight to Upton Park with no changes. think I heard one of the other lines was closed though somewhere?

Can't believe it, we must have been only ones. We'd gone in to centre of Loondon, then got back to King's Cross and the Hammersmith & City platform was closed. Had a poster re-directing us all round the place and to Baker St to pick it up there. Got to Baker St and it was shut there as well.

No problem going, got on the District Line at Monument and straight thru to Upton Park. Bit of a delay coming back there was a person under a train at Angel station and it was closed and so were a few other lines because of it. Not sure what time this happened though.

I think you must have been on the wrong platform because unless there was another problem it was open from Kings Cross towards West Ham but closed the other way (towards Hammersmith).

because of poeple dropping out after the spuds result our coach was cancelled, found out around 9pm saturday night,
i would like to thank bleasy for getting us there & the Belfield Blues for getting us home, good day out, good drink

We were at King's Cross for about 2pm. Already running a bit late and this screwed us.

-- Mon May 10, 2010 3:52 pm --

I thought we were at first (hoping it was) but definitely the right one. There were some West Ham fans there as well, was about to ask them for the best alternative route but they were off. I don't know if they progressivel closed the line during the afternon but when we got to Baker St (further West) it was closed there and guard said we'd have to make it to the District Line. Nearly went for that in first place and wished we had.

Never mind, had the biggest laugh in Covent Garden I've had in years, so still a good day out.
