Anyone Got Concrete Evidence and Reasons

There was also this little incident in Manchester city centre which didn't help relations between the two sets of fans.

There was also another Stockport/City hooligan 'bust up' at Grand Central .

Why are they running up and down Canal St with chairs? Is it a gay thing?

The grief they gave us was unreal. They took more pleasure from our demise than they did from their own success

Come on guys.

They've been lower than us for virtually the whole time since football began.

They were above us for a season (or two) and you don't expect them to gloat a little?!?

Are you telling me that if/when we get more success than the swampdwellers we won't wind them up about it?

Admittedly I didn't enjoy them taking the p!ss but I totally understand and accept it. I hope they manage to work a way out of their 'troubles' and I'd love to see them in the Prem.

I'm a Stockport lad and I can't stand County. If it was just the gloating bit when they were in a division above us I could take it, but it went alot further than that.

I remember back in the 70's, when County were truly on their arses and applying for re election every year, going to watch City play them in two friendly games in a short period of time to get some money into their club.
I also remember City fans going to Wembley to support them in their promotion play off match and that Leyland DAF trophy thing when they got beaten by Stoke.

Fast forward a few years and we are shit. We are away at Crewe and County are at home vs Port Vale. I went to watch County and at half time when the HT scores are being read out by the guy on the pitch with a microphone, he whipped the crowd up by shouting "and in the relegation battle at Gresty Road it's Crewe one City nil" County's supporters gave an almighty cheer. I couldn't believe after all the support over the years that City as a club and City's supporters had given to County that a club representitive would do such a thing. So from that moment I was out and I couldn't give a toss if they fold.
didnt he use the word "donkeys"

i live in stockport and yes, stockport is a large blue area, so never mind when we were in the same division, we were actully a division below at one point werent we. the county fans (although even in stockport its rare you come across one) took massive delight in this. so, for that reason, i hate them.

at last some simple common sense here about city and county.......... they are not and never will be serious rivals , they had their 15 minutes of fame and they enjoyed it , ..whats the big deal if they gloated, sure as eggs when city win the prem and the champs league we are going to gloat...arent we ????
