Now having caught the proverbial bug yesterday to what is a very entertaining forum, i'd enjoy the roger cooks out THERE to dig and see what they come up with.

Milan have a closer link to us than one thinks, and have been truly put in there place. the ceo of Fiat spa Sergio Marchionne, a close friend of berlusconi through there dealings at the Lonza group, was part of the delegation who came to city two weeks ago to repair friendships, obviously our royal highness has a stake at ferrari, part of the fiat spa holding company, gave him the tony soprano speech, and the mighty emperor of italia came forth with tail between the legs. Does this mean kaka is coming? I don't know, however every aspect is inter-linked, one tweak and the domino effect could begin.......

we will be back in for kaka for sure. My feeling is that he wanted to come, but then as cook said, they bottled it due to the fans reactions. Maybe kaka or berlusconi got death threats off fans and decided to not go ahead with the deal. If kaka didnt want to come to us then why would it have taken him like 2 weeks to say it??? he could have just said this the next morning after our bid, just like eto did when it was rumoured we had a bid for him. So.... imo kaka wanted to come, and was about to come, only thing was the reaction of the fans....

from what I heard ussy, cook concentrated to closely on commercial aspects of the deal, limited in being able to give assurances as to his playing role. The bottom line is he is a commodity that can be traded like any other, we just weren't prepared for the magnitude of the furore that ensued, won't happen again i'm sure, people need to get an understanding of the people who we call owners, fucking Gs mate.

zim zimmer no offence mate u seen ok, but i really carnt take anyone seriously regarding transfers,managers or any rumours to do with city. I shall read your posts with keen interest yet after the january transfer debacle i'm refusing to believe anything that comes out of an ITK. no affence!
