Just wondering if anybody on here knows of bars, or anything in Wisconsin that I can watch games. I'm getting a bit sick of having to watching them on my computer with bad feeds.

Try using the venue finder on the Setanta website -- check off "Setanta Sports Channel" and then enter your zip code.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.setanta.com/us/TV-Listings/Venue-Finder2/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.setanta.com/us/TV-Listings/Venue-Finder2/</a>

If a bar has Setanta, then odds are they also have Fox Soccer Channel -- then the only question would be whether they open early enough to screen a match. (And of course City has to be one of the 4 to 6 games being screened live on any given weekend)

I did a search for Milwaukee and this unfortunately named place seems to be the best bet to see City most weekends -- though this weekend the time conflict w/ the Arsenal match probably will rule it out:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.thehighbury.com/The_Highbury/The_Highbury_Pub.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.thehighbury.com/The_Highbury ... y_Pub.html</a>

Of course you could always dump your cable and switch to direct tv, then order Setanta as part of the package deal. Between Setanta and FSC City are on 95% of the time.

Sounds like the OP may not even have FSC, as he says he's tired of watching on the computer. ... Some people have trouble getting DirecTV because they are renters or don't have a clear southern exposure ... I've had DirecTV in the past, but I am hesitant to switch back because of the snow/rain outage issues. (Realize that's not an issue in Hollywood -- CA or FL ;) ) ... Also, since Setanta sublicensed the early Saturday and Monday games to ESPN2, City is hardly ever on Setanta -- Sunday will be the first time since the derby, then they will be on there again in two weeks, and probably not again till mid-December. $15/mo. for one game per month is a bit steep, as I don't have time to watch too much else (or else I'll get most of the other top matches on FSC or ESPN2).

But it is great that City is on every week (live or same day delayed) for those who choose to get Setanta. Come a long way from 10-12 years ago HAVING to go to the bar in the morning and maybe only a couple of matches were being beamed over each week.

I've watched every City league match live this season on FSC, Setanta or ESPN2.
$15 a month for Setanta isn't much, it was only a couple of years back that we had to pay $10 to get into a pub out here to watch a game.
When you add a brekkie and a couple of drinks to that it got to be quite pricey.
Footy has never been so freely available out here as it is right now.
I think out of our 8 league games so far:
Setanta = 4. Blackburn, Pompey ManUre and Arsenal.
FSC = 2. Wolves and Wigan
ESPN2 = 2. Villa and WHU

Tomorrow Setanta again.

Another City fan from Wisconsin? wow. Born and bred here, now in Chicago. I know there's a place in Madison on State St. that carries matches, for the life of me I can't think of its name though. In Eau Claire Northwoods brewpub has FSC, not setanta though. However good luck getting them to switch a TV away from ESPN/NFL pregame coverage. After that though The Twin Cities or Chicago are your best bet depending on which is closer for you.
