Anyone know the guy in the Family Stand who berates early leavers?

Of course some people genuinely need to go but the other day was a landmark game, the players are flat and not playing well and we were losing to that lot.

For the players to see the aisles queuing up in some areas of the ground to get out is one thing at 8-0 up against Watford but at 1-2 down against that lot when a defeat would not only mean a lost 3 points but also a loss to the Rags but worse still the landmark moment we lost our title, can’t be inspiring for them.

It’s just one of those things that obviously doesn’t bother many people but really bothers some others. There’s nowt wrong with being pissed off with it.

And in a game as serious as Saturday at 0-2 and 1-2 down people will not act in their normal way. Someone could go fucking mental at leavers in the ground and get home and think “fucking hell, I went well over the top there, don’t know why I did that!”

But it’s just emotions.

There is everything wrong with being pissed off with it, its no ones business apart from the person who gets up and leaves.

City could do with implementing some anger managment classes. We have fans throwing projectiles because our team are not winning and other fans getting upset because someone has the audacity to leave early, even though it is absomutely none of their business. Then there are the City fans fighting each other because they disagree over player performances.

We need a big group therapy.

I'm just glad I sit/stand behind the nets that way all the early leavers/late arrivals/early beer runners on the whole don'r block my view, having to look over an isle must be a realpain.

As a kid in the early 70s, my dad always dragged me out of the Platt lane with 10 mins to go so we could get the Aytoun st bus without all the queing. It did my head in !!!! I wanted to stay to the very end. We often heard the crowd cheering a goal as we made our way to the bus stop. I will never forget that feeling and will never ever leave early (not even in the Pearce years which is saying something !).
Having said that we are all different and have different priorities. It seems there are more quick getaways at our club than any other, not sure why as these last few years I have witnessed some of the most sublime football played by some very special players. Not in my wildest dreams could I have imagined we would be where we are now. CTID

The usual early leavers in 101 actualy stayed to the end on Saturday and even stood up for the last 10 minutes.

Stewards in 235 are a waste of space, I reported racist abuse at the Spurs game earlier this season to be met with a shrug and “email the club”.
