I personally think its poor, everton, spuds, newcastle (no matter where they are playing) would of sold out easily. i.m looking forward to it and will have a great day out!!

I think hes just trying to say its a poor turn out when a team in the mix for the top 4 cant sell out when we have some great players.

it may be but maybe some are a bit out of pocket

2 tickets to fulham for me a daughter £102 plus another £60 for fuel, then food and drink

then burnley away for the whole family £185, but we can walk there as its local, plus food and drink

then the arse, just the two of us, £70 plus train fares of £66 plus food and drink

total - £473, plus food and drink for 9 over the three matches

piss poor if you ask me

Times like this i'm glad i have 2 daughters who have no interest in football whatsoever with what you've had to fork out there.
 
Piss poor obviously dosnt apply to you does it so dont show off. It dosnt apply to me either but even i miss the odd game. Every team has skint fans, we just dont have the following we like to think we have. I know people as will many on here who will be able to afford it but choose to watch it in the pub and end up spending a similar amount doing so, Thats their choice and i have no problem with that but it dosnt change the fact its piss poor.

I'm not having a go at any one person, just collectively! Your going, I'm going thats all we can do.
 
All that I am trying to say is when teams like Bolton dont fill our away end we all say 'poor turn out' but everyone of them fans that didn't turn up could of had very good reason for not doing. I am not slagging anyone off but when a sole called big club struggles to take over 2000 I think that is poor regardless of reasons.
I'm off out now anyway.

It certainly is dear, no denying that..howvever not all aways are as dear as fulham, spuds etc. i dont think we have a particular big away support when you compare this to our average home gate. As i've mentioned, we have a hardcore of 1500 to 2000 who will go everywhere...when you compare this to newcastle, spuds, everton (not top 4 glory teams) there away support is much greater. Last year at sunderland, SWP return?, we took a small following and it wasnt mothers day!! I think we are becoming obsessed with attendances (yes i know i am adding to the debate!!). And i will not be bothered if we sell out or not. But, my opinion remains the same....not selling out is poor. However, like last year, i know i will have a great day out along with the other 1500 - 2000 regulars.
