Chr*st, even when compared to some of the total dross we had on our books back then, Margetson was sh*te.

Whatever happened to him after he left us?.

Last I remember of him was when he got substituted at half time, by Reidy at Maine Road, after he’d let in 5 first half goals against Everton

He ended up as Cardiff's goalie coach but then went to Wales under Gary Speed and then went to West Ham under Big Sam..... When Big Sam left West Ham he rejoined Cardiff - and then went to England under Big Sam. When Big Sam was sacked from England and then went to Palace.... Margetson went too. Then when Big Sam went to Everton, yup, you guessed it!
He is currently unemployed, telling the job centre he has a job lined up as soon as Big Sam gets one!

i went around then for a friendly, 3pm on a midweek day. Cant remember score though and was probably only couple of hundred City, same for them. big nose didnt score though. Wiki says he was there 98/99.
