According to my Sheffield Wednesday supporting mate's logic. He justifies this by texting - 'Wednesday come back from 2-0 down to win 4-2 against the Oldham team who beat City 2-1.' I think he wants a civic reception and parade for them.
 
Don't break his heart by tellin' him we hardly sent anyone of note to play for us in that friendly at Oldham .....

but you can tell him that Sheffield Wednesday ARE the best side in their half of Sheffield!

Personally I rate Sheffield FC and Stocksbridge Park Steels ahead of them, but I might not tell my mate that.

Not wanting to be pedantic, but Oldham beat us before we beat Chelsea. So technically that would make Wednesday Premier League Champions and us FA Cup and Champions league winners!
