Are City really ruining football?

I know City have balanced the books, but there is something wrong with buying Grealish for a record transfer fee to play in a position already well stocked with 2 other international players (Sterling and Foden). That kind of quality accumulation distorts the competition.
Sniff, sniff!

Who gives a fuck. This sudden outrage by fans of other clubs is ridiculous. Tweets from Watford fans about us being "boring" and "clinical football", "tainted title" calls from rags, "dont see anyone else celebrating their title wins" from scousers.

The last one really gets me, why on earth would anyone other than city fans care if we win the title, fucking lunatics the lot of them.
Tainted titles from the Rags, the cheeky cnuts only played in a one horse league, using money from the PLC ill gotten gains and against the premier/football league rules, most of that money was spent on grooming refs and placing useless managers into other clubs so they could have a 30 point start year on year.
NOT ONE of their teams in that period could live with any of ours in the last 5 years and they hate that, franchise fan fookers!

oh fuck off
Calm down. Many others have explained their POV very reasonably.
Sounds quite reasonable to me! ;-)

But we were there when we were shit. We took the attitude of grin and bear it, and are now uniquely qualified to deride opposition fans (and our own supporters) if they try to criticise our enjoyment of the position we're now in. We know it won't last - nothing ever does - but I feel privileged to be here at this moment watching the best football I've ever seen!

The talent should be spread across teams, stockpiling players will reduce the competitiveness as these extra players could be a valuable asset in another team. Just because we can buy doesn't mean we should. Keep that money for a position that is needed - a striker or a DM.
Fuck other teams. Nobody helped us when we were shit

Very little stays the same and City are certainly in the vanguard of changing football. I would think that there might be a division into "two codes" of football - an "elite" form that is highly tactical and requires a very high skill level from players, and a "traditional" form which is more physical. I think there is room for both to co-exist - both have their own attractiveness, though in different ways.
