Is it possible that the Sheiks will see us as a disaster zone and take their cash out?

All we had to do this eseason was 'steady the ship" and build on last year.
Not too much to ask with a few more 1000000000's in the bank.

Fuck this club makes me mad.

That was appalling today, and everyone's to blame.
Players, manager, staff, board the lot.

WE DO NOT DESERVE THIS.

Calm down brother.

ADUG are not going to walk away.

I understand where you're coming from with the rest of it though

at last somebody who says it was a collective nightmare today, hughes picks the team, the team performs
hughes installs his tactics and makes matchday decisions

everything went wrong today, even the fans were flat (nervous) !
not acceptable and lets see exactly what character city have in the next few matches

Im beggining to wonder about that gypsy curse :(

Let down after let down, but we will still be there, until we goin into admin and eventually cease to exist *SLAP*

Jeeze, thats negative. The best word I can think of is exasperated - 'cos thats what I am! Our time has to come around, it just has to. I dont think our owners are the type who will be looked upon as a failure. They have a bigger audience than Abu Dhabi could ever give them in City, they have to be successful.

You should now more than any of us.

Rub your balls

Ally, you know I love you. Just heed Mammutly. There is more to their investment in City than just City (and I don't mean some sort of beautification of their investement portfolio...though that's not going to well...).

Fcuking hell mate that is depressing, you need to put thoughts like that out your head, just thinking of our once in a lifetime opportunity being blown by an XRAG cult idol makes me feel physically sick.

Brucie, love you too, you know that. I had a bad feeling about this whole thing from the off.

a close friend of mine made a very salient point at the start of the ADUG era. That was we would try and run before we could walk.

Robinho was a ridiculous signing with absolutely no thought with regards to the rest of the team. In tha,t he meant he would basically be able to do what he wanted on massive wages. That sort of thing tears the team down the middle.

I firmly believe there is no unity and utter chaos at our club at present.
Garry Cook and Mark Hughes are pulling the wool over the Sheiks eyes at present with this transfer window/long term plan bollocks.

We can buy the best players and have the best starting 11 in the world and still go down - IF THEY DON'T PERFORM!!!

The buck stops with Hughes for me as he has to bring this all together. So far he has done the opposite.

With regards to ADUG. They are ruthless businessmen who lets be honest couldn't give a fuck about City fans. If there's a whiff of going down, I believe they will leave us in the arabian mire.

Walkin away from the ground today I was saying to my lad that City are the only club that could fuck it all up with limitless riches (preaching to the converted as he's seen almost as much shite as me now!).

In a perverse sort of way maybe all of our current pain will ultimately be for the good of the game in the future, in that we'll be living proof that you can't buy success in football. So clubs looking at potential foreign investors would sound a note of caution because of 'what happened at Man City'. Fook I need another drink!

I understand the OP. I was shitting bricks before we trashed Hull and got a point off Blackburn which lifted us to 13. I really thought we might get relegated.

I feel better about that and I think as long as we don't get relegated (which we won't) ADUG will stay. Worst case scenario will be that we lost almost an entire season if it turns out that even with his January transfers Hughes cannot turn this around.

Then he would get sacked in the summer. Note that ADUG did not appoint Hughes. I am sure they would have tried to get a higher profile manager had they come in earlier.

FFS

The mentality of the club and the fans is defeatist, witness the current OP, we have a large number of players who quite frankly can not be arsed to give their best for the club, it's been like that for years now, Joe Royle thought the same, now that needs to be turned around the whole culture of the club, stop being the gallant losers.

It's hard after results like to today, but this club needs turning around and I beleive that Hughes just might be the man to do it

Takes off pants removing belt, places season ticket next to cherished photograph of Tony Book with 3 Trophies, removes chair from dinning table, proceeds up the stairs

(Only joking)

After all your 'Ball Rubbing' nonsense you want to take a look at yourself!

What happened? - got a couple of tips that were right (first time) so thought you would string the masses a line?

I told you last time you were an arse and now I'm being proved right.

We have to be the most optimistic fans in the world, otherwise our attendances would be around 325 per game after decades of winning fuck all.

defeatist - no way

we are the best fans in the world. We stick by our club.

They just keep letting us down.

None of Joe Royle's players/excuses still remain. The current manager has different players/excuses.

Two times this club has had managers who have come very close to turning it around - Howard Kendall and Sven Goran Ericksson. Kendal left for Everton ( silly twat) and Sven was totally undermined by Thaksin.

Hughes has so far shown no indication whatsoever that he might join that small club. In fact, his statements put him squarely in the company of the great Alan Ball, who also used to speak of the need to knock on doors.
