Are we missing Garry Cook?

My thoughts too

Not sure why anyone is embarrassed about the attendance.

Thought it was pretty good myself, and if a few scousers and rags think it entitles them to take the piss out of the club, then I couldn't give less of a fuck.

I agree 36,00 was not a bad turn out. But the BBC had us over big time if you watch back where they show the lights out bit.

Just a thought. Because I think that under him, there is no way that the debacle of two £40 games within 3 days would have happened. I realise that FFP is probably driving things now but last week was a big embarassment!

And before you ask, yes I went

The club should just add 125 onto all season ticket holders and you have your seat for all cup games up until the quarter finals and the group stage off champions leauge. Its good value for money will drag all the Season ticket holders in for cup games and surely they will sell the rest off the tickets. I don't care how many turn up as long as i am there i don't care. But the 12th man helps

Re: Are we missing Gary Cook?

How is ANYONE on this board in a position to judge this?

By the way, new "CEO" rumors/news anyone?

David Potts from Tesco is stepping down in June to 'fulfill a lifelong ambition'

Interesting
As a Manchester City fan, it is understood that one of Mr Potts' possible options is a role running the club.
Buy one get one free cup tickets perhaps?

Re: Are we missing Gary Cook?

I know that people at the club want him back, but, realistically, it can'tt happen.
Had a few gaffs but was overall brilliant at helping to push us up to our present position on and off the pitch.
Sadly missed.

Exactly, it is the last straw the rags are clutching at.

Re: Are we missing Gary Cook?

The two clubs/FA agree the prices for cup games, ultimately any club with a smaller ground/need for instant cash can command a higher gate price. I think the FA and League should have set fee tickets for 80% of all grounds based on the prize money allocated to each knock out tournament.
