After the pitiful display today (which, let's face is hardly a one off), I am struggling to see it.

We've clearly the square root of fuck all chance of winning the Champions league. Doubtless Liverpool will up their game 10,000% in the league cup final. We've a way to go in the FA Cup, but maybe, just maybe that could be our saving grace?

And the league? Well, we're relying on the wheels falling off at Leicester, Spurs and Arsenal - all of which are playing better than us, and have been for months. I can imagine one of them fucking up. Two perhaps. But all three? Unlikely.

No, I think this is going to be yet another season that promised so much, but once again delivers fuck all.

It's not too late of course, but if we are to win anything "carry on as you are" is not going to cut it.

bloody hell grow a pair. we are still in all competitions, who knows we might win the champions league. theres loads of games left and your writing us off winning anything already ...

Course we might.

If he sets us up with Yaya in a midfield two against Liverpool we'll get absolutely mullered. Thing is I think he will. Looks like we'll see a weakened team at Chelsea so the FA cup doesn't look good. We won't win the Champs League, and we don't deserve to win the League after that performance today. So, yes I think we'll end up trophyless.
