Dominoes last night was heaving with Scousers so I expected some piss taking from them,but the banter then turned into a shouting match between myself and a Dipper Fan.
Give him his due,he`s 60 years of age,so still a slip of a lad compaired to me,but he has travelled all over the world to watch his team and for that I will always give him some praise.
However,during the "discussion" of the match and the penalty claims,Suarez,blah,blah,blah,this Scouser then said to me "Oakie,why try and have a debate about football with me,when I am a Liverpool fan only and couldn`t give a shit about anything not connected to LFC"
So being polite I pointed out that when watching City I prefer to watch both teams,irrespective of who they are,which angered him even more when I stated that he had just broken the myth regarding Liverpools claim that their supporters were nothing like the medias perception that they were very football knowledgeable.
So the question to you is,are you a genuine football fan or just a City fan,who has no interest in anything outside of our Club ?

I'm a football fan and a city supporter . I watch footie on tv at any opportunity - Premier League, Championship, Football League or overseas. Even watch the Aussie A League shows. Nothing beats watching City though.

I keep interest in our rivals and to a lesser extent the leagues teams as a whole.
I will not watch the french league or italian though, defo not that into it, got better things to do.

I will always watch a prem match but am liable to lose interest quick if it is a shit match, then i may glance over once in a while if that.

I am a football fan with City as my true love! I will watch football at any given opportunity but will (& have) spent thousands supporting the best team in the land in the world.

Can't wait for the World Cup, but......................... who do I support once England go out? Belgium, Spain, I could go on and on with our team!!

I'm solely a City fan...hardly watch any other football at all as I have no interest in it...I might watch the world cup/european cup if it's on but that's it

I used to be a football fan even stopping in the park to watch football when I wasn't playing myself. However, since the advent of the Premier League and the ability of clubs to buy the league, it has waned on me.

I always knew in my heart that united were buying their titles but kept going in the hope that one day we might get proper investment. We did and the reaction to it has shamed football and shown it for what it is.

Now I agree with your scouse acquaintance but with the added bonus of particularly despising certain clubs and relishing any misfortune that befalls them.

Used to be a football fan but lost a lot of love for it over the past few years.

Now its very much Love City Hate Football
