Are You Doing Anything To Protest About The Latest Season Ticket Price Increase?

If it is about money with the increase then how about we don't allocate thousands to kids who don't support City and sell them and freeze the normal fans prices? I am not saying it will help that scenario but increasing makes it worse rather than better or even the same.

I would guess that the idea is to 'create' new fans but inviting those school kids that wouldn't normally be able to go. So that when our old codgers (myself included) die out, there will be somebody to replace them.

this club is fleecing the fans of money
we need to fuck the sheik off, get franny back and have lower ticket prices, they are going up by 3p in every pound,,3 fucking pence, how fucking dare they, we need to fuck sane, sivla, sterling , kdb and all the other money grabbing mercenaries off, get good value players in then lower ticket prices, sell the training complex that will get it down even more ,ive had enough of being ripped off every season ,id rather watch us back in the 3rd division as long as it means cheaper season tickets ,and the good thing about all this is once we are as low as we can go we can have a good fucking whinge about how shit we are and how we wished we didn't fucking moan every fucking season about everything the club do , we are the best run club in the world, have the best manager in the world, sadly our fan base is a bit fucking whingy, but they wont do anything about it they will just carry on watching the best team in Europe(its coming) and whinging about the price of crisps at the match ,dont like it don't fucking go.

Exactly, Frog.

Hence why I'm dropping 2 cup schemes.

Another City fan can have my seat.

Wait a minute!

Just add it to the 1000's of empty seats in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup games at the Etihad.

Bar Burnley, when *ticket prices were reduced and the ground was full of existing City fans, new City fans, and families*.

Was the attendance 53,000 ish?

I beg your pardon
tough guy
,

Your post was massively over the top because I imagine the increase doesn't hit you as much as other fans. People work it out to how much extra it is a second over a year to justify it and make out it is minimal. People were probably already at their limits and to increase further is a joke. All well and good posting a load of tripe of it being 3p or get Swales back but the fact remains the increase wasn't needed. As I said in my first post it is more staggering when seats aren't filled to begin with. The club has lost touch with the fans and will continue to do so to reach the heights of where they want to be. Shame.

So price out loyal fans so you can provide free tickets to kids in different teams training tracksuits to sit on their ipad during the match? No thanks, just lower kids pricing, kids for a quid is great and a quid is more than giving them away for free currently.

No we don't
Nearly all the seats are "allocated" but not all are sold
And when was the last time you saw L2 of the Colin Bell stand completely full?
There isn't a game gone by without empty seats. Giving away thousands of seats in the family stand also isn't selling out. We sell good numbers but there is gaps everywhere. My point is if every home game has empty seats why do we think increasing prices will help that.
Most of the empty seats are sold though , mainly to s/c holders that miss games. I buy match day tickets and now they all go on sale pre season they pretty much sell out if you watched the planner games go from sold out to back on sale as s/c seats go to resale or away blocks are returned. Some seats are kept back given away in family stand but not thousands.

Even the picture the club has used on the renew page is full of empties

It is a different topic but we must have the least amount of season ticket holders that turn up then as there is EVERY game many seats empty. Loads are given away in the family stand, hundreds. Many kids who aren't interested, many who don't turn up. Give less away and sell them to outweigh an increase if the demand is there. Sadly the demand isn't there which makes the decision all the more baffling.

mine went up £11 not much in the grand scheme of things but a pretty pointless increase.
has anyone figured out how much extra city will get this season from the increase?
i imagine its a drop in the ocean with the amount of money floating about at the club

It's estimated in the region of £800k, which in percentage terms is 0.016% of total revenue
