That's why the club needs to think and plan ahead, and try and get as many City fans hooked while Pep is still here. Once you get the bug, and season tickets and match tickets are affordable, it's hard to give up.
Keep on increasing season ticket and matchday ticket prices, and possible boring and trophyless football, and more people won't bother coming.
If Pep committed to another 10 years the Directors could put their feet up, have a drink, and light a cigar, knowing the fans and the money will continue rolling in, regardless. But that isn't going to happen.
Just like Fergie, who ever takes over from Pep starts as a down grade. An instant loser, unless they can win the CL, PL, or a cup by playing attractive football. How many Managers can do that? Not many.
