Going halfs !!See my reply. :)
I'd buy him one.
But next season's £20 rise has put it out of my reach.
Fancy going halfs? ;-)
Your fans didn't turn up in the 90's and your club would have died if it wasnt' for Fergus McCann. With all the money every club receives from TV in the EPL, not a penny it seems is used to fund a cut in the price of a season ticket.
As Jock Stein said, “football without fans is nothing”.
Football should remember that. If a club has a turnover of £200m+ I think a few bob could be used to reduce prices.
Every club talks about how much they love their support. Well prove it. Take a few million of the revenues say to the fans we’re taking £50 off your season book as a thankyou.
A lot of people who absolutely love their clubs can no longer afford to watch their team. Their kids miss out too. I feel for them and as clubs continually raise the prices when the money they receive is massive, I feel is wrong.
Paying players £250k a week and you can’t take money off the ticket for the people who are the club?
Fuck off and get your priorities right,
Won’t happen though, all the talk of love of fans stops when there is money involved.
We were beyond shite in the 90’s too. If the fans didn’t turn out there would have been no club. When times get better financially, not to include the people who give any team it’s udentity is a slap in the face.
Did ticket prices go down when we were shit?
We got nearly £100m extra last season in PL prize money and commercial income. Why the fuck does the club need an extra £20 from me?
