Are You Patient Enought For Success?

So at the start of the season we set our stall out at getting in Europa league, but not sure if we have over performed or if our rivals have under performed.

Anyway, we are in a good position to try and have a punt at getting 4th. It may or may not happen, but anyway regardless of how this season ends we will end up doing well over the next 5yrs or so.

All I want to know if whether you are patient enough to wait or whether you think the ammount we spend should equate to the sucess on the pitch?

We started with a fairly mediocre squad when the money came in, so we have to be patient and let it build. As long as we are improving I will be patient. Having said that who else will I support if it goes wrong???? Oh that's right CITY!!!!!!

I'd be happy to wait another 14 months to win something.

You have no choice! :)

edit - if I do the maths we could win the League cup in 11 before anyone points that out!

To be fair this is the most successful season we've had in 20rs (i think..) and the signs are we are getting better!

I hope we dont spend above the odds for good players, i would love if we invest in up and coming world class talent to suppilment our awsome squad! transfers like johnson :)

I am going to nail my own head to a barn door in protest, if we don't get fourth.

i was incredibly patient until certain vociferous posters on here insisted accepting 6th was akin to being a lose
they proclaimed from the rooftops that if you accepted anything less than champions you were beneath contempt, a tub thumper and happy to accept mediocrity, in fact a 'happy clapper'

therefore if we don't achieve 4th we are completely shit

For years, decades really, we have'nt really been pace setters, have we?

The prize I want the most is winning the league. Fishing 4th is'nt a prize. Getting into the Europa League is'nt a prize.

I want us to be Champions of England.

And I want us to be champions because it is so hard to achieve.

We have a wonderful owner who is putting millions into the club, possibly billions into the local economy, and it's great, it's fantastic when you think about it, but all the money he spends, of all the players he may buy, it does not, ultimately, guarantee any success.

Our owner has given us hope, and it is the best 'hope' we have had in decades.

I know, as we all do, we are going to be champions one day, I just think it may take a few years yet.

I can wait a while longer.

I'm happy to wait for us to get some success. But if it's another 34 years then I'm afraid lads and lasses I won't be with you, so hopefully the sooner the better for me!!
