Arrogance doesn't help us...

Last night was a brief set back - we are still very much in the mix for 4th place.

What amazes me is the arrogance some people show to the so called 'lesser' teams. A couple of examples:

* When we played Burnely earlier in the season one guy sat behind me at COMS said "The win is a given - we're just here to knock up our goal difference". Well we all know what happened on that day.

* On this board yesterday there were lots of posts saying how easy Everton would be. One said "I don't see Everton scoring". Well, guess what, they scored twice.

All that kind of arrogant bullshit gets our team nowhere. There are no easy games and if we are to take 4th it will be through concentration and a good work rate.

So, maybe some people should stip slagging off the opposition and we should all get behind our team and our manager and support them well in the push for 4th.

Maybe some on here were arrogant, but I was never under any illusions that Everton are a good side. I've watched them at Eastlands the last 3 years and I've seen us come away with nothing every team. Should have put a fiver on Cahill to score first!

We have nothing to be arrogant about in all fairness. I'm sick of hearing "You've never won fuck all" from them, its all they ever sing. But winning the odd cup (in my lifetime i think its been an FA Cup?) in 34 years gives them the chance to say it - as it does with Blackburn.

We should pipe down a bit, and accept the fact that this is going to take time. I've seen this all before, so I'm not hot under the collar about it.
